Statement:
Masses, movements, patterns of behaviour and the decision to call it the good life. The expulsion of self-deception and kids on swings, light through glass, cigarette ash, solitude and life’s a matchmaker. Babylon within, Babylon without, the tally, the instinct, the delay, the cost. Intensity versus discipline, enjoyment versus relaxation, jet stream global hops. The sameness lifts you up, wisdom is wasted on the wise, but if I sell it to myself, it’ll probably fly. The difficulty in attaining, the value of holding, the timing of spending. Finding things to paint. What do people want to look at? How much is enough to sustain me?
