Statement:
I work intuitively with the moving image and digital audio. I’m fuelled by a fascination with the formal possibilities of the technical crafts of digital video, from the oldest forms of film editing to still-emerging tools such as particles, morphing, and 3d simulation. Aesthetic considerations inevitably guide my focus, so my works often end up as dialogues between formalism and experimentation. My tastes for the arbitrary, the elegant, and the fun often dictate my choice of technical method; then the process becomes a scenario for discovery or obsession.
