WHO
This AiR program focuses on interdisciplinary projects within dance, music, performing arts, film, literature (working with non-fiction literature projects) and curators.
We are open for applications from professional artists that already work with interdisciplinary projects or would like to challenge their own practice. Our AiR Program is open to professional artists who do not reside in Trondheim. Regardless of your background, age, or gender, we encourage diverse perspectives and practices within visual arts, crafts, dance, music, performing arts, film, literature (non-fiction literature projects), and curation.

WHEN
Residencies available from January 2027 to December 2028.
Residency Period: 22 days to three months

Timeline (to be confirmed):
15th January 2026: Announcement
28th February 2026: Last day for questions
15th March 2026: Application deadline
10th June 2026: Results announcement

WHAT we offer
A full equipped studio apartment during your residency period. The apartment is located in the old gymnasium building just across the courtyard from the main building. This contains: 120 cm wide bed, bed linen and towels, dishwasher, refrigerator and freezer, fully equipped kitchen, laundry room and storage room if needed.
24/7 access to joint workshops for wood, metal, printmaking, analogue photography and ceramics;
Possibility to rent project rooms (50 and 90 sqm).
