Finissage: Exhibition tour and open conversation with artist Carlos A. Correia

Welcome to the final day of the duo exhibition «Under the same roof» by Enrique Roura and Carlos A. Correia. This is BABEL's last exhibition day of the spring semester, and we mark the closing with an artist talk with Carlos A. Correia. We invite you to an informal tour where we move through the exhibition and open for questions, reflections, and input along the way.
«Under the same roof» is structured around a collaborative installation in the entrance hall, where the ceiling has been tiled with skjenning, a traditional Norwegian flatbread. The works in the exhibition examine interdependence and fragility at different scales: the body, the material object, and the built environment. Through video, sculpture, and installation, the works address questions of care, cultural identity, vulnerability, and collective responsibility.
This finissage is an opportunity to engage more closely with the process and themes, and to take part actively in the conversation. The event is open to everyone, and no prior knowledge is required. BABEL is open from 12–16. The conversation starts at 13:00 and lasts for about 45 minutes. It is possible to come and go as you please.
