Sara Guldmyr (b.1990, Anderstorp, SE) lives and works in Oslo. She holds a BFA from the Academy of Fine Arts in Trondheim and an MFA from the Academy of Fine Arts in Oslo. She works within video and sculpture, often about time, close relationships, loneliness and trust. The alternation between narrative video - where text and image merge - and the three-dimensionality of sculpture and installation keeps her practice elastic and exploratory.
She works mainly with sculpture, installation and video. At LKV she will keep working towards an exhibition at Heimdal Kunstforening that opens mid February. Many of the works in the show will be instruments and there will be a concert with musician and composer Michaela Antalová on Sunday the 15th of February.
