BABEL bok

BABEL bok is BABEL’s own artist bookshop, located on the mezzanine above the exhibition space. At BABEL bok you will find a selection of artist publications, self‑published books, zines, catalogues and other alternative printed matter. Here, you can explore a broad and continually shifting range of titles.

The bookshop has been part of BABEL since 2009, functioning over the years as a volunteer‑run, artist‑driven project where the interplay between art and text has been central. Today, BABEL bok serves as a quiet corner above the exhibition room, where you can sit down, browse the reading copies and be inspired by both classic and experimental book formats.

BABEL bok is open during BABEL’s regular opening hours throughout exhibition periods. There is currently no online shop, so if you want to discover new treasures, you will need to visit the bookshop in person and explore the shelves yourself.
