Nevena Ekimova is a Bulgarian artist, currently based in her hometown of Gabrovo. She studied art in Norway and Iceland, and got her BFA at the Valand Art Academy in Gothenburg, Sweden. Besides exhibiting, she often works with institutions and creates large-scale public projects. Nevena’s works are visual and tactile, and often contain a poetic and performative element. They are mostly made using second-hand materials.
