Line Anda Dalmar
Line Anda Dalmar (b. 1983, Stavanger) works across various materials and media including photography, sculpture, sound, video, and drawing. Her work is rooted in reflections on memory and the ways we experience, recall, and register the world around us. These may be bodily sensations and impressions that are difficult to articulate—evoking memories of place, time, and situations.
Dalmar works site-sensitively, with most of her projects based on field studies. During fieldwork, she engages with diverse landscapes, both familiar and remote. In recent years, she has exhibited at Kunstgarasjen in Bergen, Rogaland Kunstsenter, Stavanger Art Museum, Preus Museum, Ram Galleri, Tegnerforbundet, and the art associations in Trondheim, Kongsberg, and Levanger.
She holds a master’s degree from Konstfack in Stockholm and a bachelor’s degree from the Bergen Academy of Art and Design.
