Maiken Hauksdatter Lyng Østerhagen (b. 1973) is a multidisciplinary artist based in Trondheim. Her educational and professional background encompasses studies and work in psychology, photography, and graphic design. She holds a BFA and MFA from the Academy of Fine Art in Trondheim. Fascinated by different forms of consciousness, symbolism, and aspects of time, Maiken explores these themes through various mediums including photography, photographic weaving, painting, and embroidery.
