Märit Aronsson-Towler (born 1974 in Ås, Jämtland) has a BFA and MFA from the Trondheim Academy of Fine Art, and has studied at Grafikskolan in Stockholm and Skapande Svenska at Uppsala University, among other places. Her works often take the form of installations constructed from woodcuts with text or organic shapes. She has exhibited at a number of galleries, including Trondhjems Kunstforening and Tjörnedala Konstförening, Baskemölla, and has received many awards and scholarships. Aronsson-Towler is represented by Trondheim Municipality, Region Jämtland and Kunstmuseet Nord-Trøndelag. She also works as a writer and conducts interviews with other artists.
