OPEN CALL: MEMBERSHIP FOR JOINT WORKSHOPS
We currently have two spots available in LKV’s joint workshops, with start dates between 01 August and 01 September 2026. Read more about LKV’s facilities.
Applications must be submitted as one PDF file to apply@lkv.no and must include:

- Short description of intended use — how you plan to use LKV’s shared workshops, and your relevant skills/experience
- Portfolio - attach a previous portfolio that gives an impression of your practice (do not spend time creating a new one)

Lademoen Kunstverksteder is open to all professional visual artists and arts and crafts artists. In response to requests from several artists, we introduced an annual subscription for LKV’s shared workshops in 2024. This two‑year pilot program gives artists without a studio at LKV the same conditions as those who have one in the building. During the trial period, we offer up to five memberships, which are announced when spaces become available.
Annual subscription for LKV’s shared workshops
- Price per year: NOK 8,000
- Access to shared workshops (booking through our online system)
- Access to LKV’s kitchen
- Workshop and project room rates - same rates as LKV tenants; see price list
- Full‑funding rates apply for fully financed projects (e.g., public art commissions). Additional costs may apply for consumables such as welding gas
- Extra kiln costs apply for ceramic firing
- Mandatory participation in at least one responsibility group for the shared workshops
- Binding subscription valid for 365 days
The application deadline is 15 June 2026. Applicants will receive a response by 29 June. Membership begins no earlier than 1 August and no later than 1 September 2026.
Only professional artists are eligible for the annual subscription. Artists with relevant skills for the various shared workshops will be prioritized. Workshop capacity will also be considered. LKV does not provide individual explanations for rejected applications.
