Vernissage: BABEL REMIX

On October 24 at 6:00 PM, BABEL opens its new exhibition space in the former gymnasium at Lademoen Kunstnerverksteder (LKV). This marks a rare and historic moment in Norwegian art life—after all, it’s not every day that an artist-run exhibition space builds its own venue.

BABEL REMIX is the very first exhibition in the new space, featuring works by Hilde Honerud, HC Gilje, Edvine Larssen, Vilje Celin Kern Vestenfor, Pål Lersveen, Sofie Hviid Vinther, Linn Halvorsrød, and Tegneklubben (Bjørn Bjarre, Ulf Verner Carlsson, Paul Dring, Terje Nicolaisen, and Martin Skauen).

The exhibition title refers both to BABEL’s inaugural show in 2006, “BABEL MIX,” and to the fact that BABEL itself has undergone a kind of remix process. The exhibition brings together artists with distinctly different expressions and approaches, and can be read as a cross-section, or a vibrant mix, of the upcoming exhibition program.

Where: BABEL, Mellomveien 3B

When:October 24, 2025, 18:00–21:00
