WHO
Professional crafts & visual artists without a residential address in Trondheim municipality. Regardless of your background, age, or gender, we encourage diverse perspectives and practices within visual arts. We welcome families and especially encourage you to apply if you are an artist interested in engaging in the local community, either socially or through professional collaboration. 
We encourage any artistic genre.

WHEN

Residency Period: 22 days to three months

Timeline:
15th January 2024: Announcement
30th February 2024: Last day for questions
15th March 2024: Application deadline
10th June 2024: Results announcement

WHAT we offer
A full equipped studio apartment during your residency period. The apartment is located in the old gymnasium building just across the courtyard from the main building. This contains: 120 cm wide bed, bed linen and towels, dishwasher, refrigerator and freezer, fully equipped kitchen, laundry room and storage room if needed.
A large studio of 50sqm on the 1st and 2nd floor of the main building with large windows facing the park (west).
24/7 access to joint workshops for wood, metal, printmaking, analogue photography and ceramics;
Possibility to rent project rooms (50 and 90 sqm).
Opportunity to apply for a project to be shown at BABEL visningsrom for kunst in connection with the residency. BABEL is moving premises in Spring 2025, closer to the main building! Download the plan here.
